Optional Rules in Use

This game employs the following systems from Pathfinder (more details can be found at: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/).

Background Skills: The background skill system splits the skill list into 2 parts, and adds a little more complexity. This means that characters can take skills to round out their backgrounds and make them fit into the fabric of the world more. This system was originally described in Pathfinder Unchained.

Hero Points: The hero point system originally described in the Advanced Player's Guide is in use for this game. Real heroes have that extra special something that sets them apart, and these hero points represent that.

Settlements: All of the settlements found in this game make use of the Settlements system found in the Games Mastery Guide. Each settlement will have a stat block which details certain information about that settlement. Modifiers for each settlement will affect certain dice rolls made in that settlement.

Trait System: Player characters can take up to 2 traits at character generation (subject to GM approval). The feat Additional Traits can be taken for more traits.  This system was originally from the Advanced Player's Guide.
